Modelling in an industrial context

Model Driven Engineering is the topic of numerous theoretical research projects. But what about its real use in the industry? The objective of this talk is to provide some elements of answer for the space domain. Several topics will be addressed:

    Objectives of modelling,
    Expected benefits / risks,
    Perimeter of modelling (system, software, hardware, mechanical...),
    Needs of guidelines,
    Training of development teams,
    Language's semantics,
    Automatic code generation.

These topics will be supported by feedbacks from operational uses.
